Bitshaky Defense is a new company whose first product is an adjustable offset red dot sight mount called BOM. This mount allows adjusting both the angle of the red dot sight in relation to the primary scope and its distance from the bore axis. Additionally, the Bitshaky Defense BOM mount can be equipped with a red dot guard for protecting the reflex sight from impacts.
Offset Mounts @ TFB:
The angle of the Bitshaky Defense BOM mount can be adjusted from 0 to 180 degrees, and the distance from the bore is adjustable within a half-inch range. All the blue parts in the exploded diagram above are made of 7075-T6 aluminum and have a black hard coat anodized finish. The red dot sight guard is made of 6AL-4V titanium. The BOM mount comes standard with a 3-slot Picatinny rail section for attaching the red dot sight but there is an optional direct red dot mounting plate that is compatible with Vortex Venom and Viper, Trijicon RMR, Burris FastFire 2 and FastFire 3, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and EOTech MRDS sights. Direct mounting plates for other RDS footprints are in the works and will be available soon.
The Bitshaky Defense BOM adjustable offset mount is listed on the company’s website at an MSRP of $309. You can also buy a version without a red dot guard that costs $259. Additionally, a red dot guard with extra long legs for wider secondary optics is available separately for $49. The direct red dot mounting plate has a price tag of $99.99. Bitshaky Defense BOM mount is made in the USA.
